Muhammad Shaher Yar has been appointed Chief AI Officer of Supersight

Supersight, a leading developer of privacy-preserving computer vision technology, today announced a significant leadership change. Oksana Havryliuk, who has served as the company's Chief AI Officer, will be succeeded by Muhammad Shaher Yar.

Oksana Havryliuk has been an invaluable part of Supersight since its founding driving innovation and excellence in AI development. Her expertise has been instrumental in establishing the company's reputation for delivering the world's most accurate AI models and algorithms for people counting on mobile devices. Under her leadership, Supersight has achieved significant milestones, including our latest AI model for people counting trained on Europe's fastest supercomputer, LUMI. The new model offers unrivalled accuracy.

Muhammad Shaher Yar brings an extensive experience to the role of Chief AI Officer. With a robust background in computer vision technology and the latest advancements in 3D Human Mesh reconstruction ML pipeline development, Muhammad Shaher Yar is well-established to lead Supersights’s AI initiatives into the future. His expertise will be crucial in advancing the company's mission to develop cutting-edge technologies that respect and protect people's privacy while providing highly accurate and reliable AI based reporting solutions in built environments.

Muhammad Shaher Yar has previously developed a 3D Human Mesh reconstruction and real-time speech driven 3D facial animation pipeline at Nokia, designed computer-vision-based solutions for the retail industry in the UK for years, and developed a medical imaging tool as a research engineer at Columbia University Medical Center , located in New York.
