Position Overview:
We are seeking a versatile Deployment Engineer to join our team. In this role, you’ll travel to customer sites for installations, perform maintenance, and troubleshoot issues. You’ll also support our machine learning (ML) development by assisting with data collection and testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- On-site Maintenance: Conduct site surveys, install hardware, perform maintenance, test accuracy, and update documentation.
- Testing: Implement physical testing of new AI models, app versions, external housing designs, and different phone models. Test for accuracy across a variety of use cases.
Qualifications:
- Trade skills: Some practical experience in a relevant trade (e.g., electrical work, plumbing, network maintenance, or construction) and aren't afraid to get your hands dirty solving real-world problems.
- Installation Superstar: With your sharp eye for detail and efficiency, you are consistently delivering high-quality results. Everything works perfectly, and it looks great, too.
- Safety Guru: You’re the master of safe work practices, with a sixth sense for spotting hazards before they happen. From PPE to electrical safety, you know how to keep the jobsite secure and everyone safe.
- Driver: Must be willing and able to drive to various customer locations as part of the job requirements.
Good to have:
- Apprenticeships, certifications, or accreditations relating to on-site hands-on work.
