Supersight Installation and Calibration Guide

Terms and Conditions

Before proceeding with installation and calibration, you must read and accept the following terms and conditions:

  1. The Supersight DeliveryApp will temporarily record a video of you walking through the doorway 50 times and nearby the doorway for 2 minutes to optimize computer vision parameters.
  2. The recorded video is automatically deleted once the optimization is complete.
  3. You must wear a hat (e.g., baseball cap or woolly hat) to cover your head and ensure that your face is not visible and no personal data is recorded.
  4. Ensure that no other person is using the doorway during the recording process.

By proceeding, you acknowledge and accept these conditions.

Preparation for Testing

Before starting, make sure you have the following:

  • Manual counter app installed on your phone (e.g. Counter+, which is free to download from the app store).
  • Hat to cover your head (baseball cap or woolly hat).
  • Traffic cones or tape to restrict foot traffic.

Device Setup (Before Mounting)

Configure the Counter Settings:

  • View: Normal / Wide Angle (use wide angle for very wide doors).
  • In/Out Count: Set to 50.
  • Recording Duration Calculation:
    1. Do a sample walk of 5 IN/OUT before mounting the phone.
    2. Measure the time it takes and multiply by 10.
    3. Add a buffer of 60 seconds.
    4. Formula: Seconds to record = (5 IN/OUT *10) + 60 seconds buffer.

Set Orientation:

  • If the Counter is mounted straight, select Straight option.
  • If the Counter is mounted rotated, select Sideways option.

Calibration Process

  1. Press the Volume Down button to begin calibration.
  2. Continue calibrating until the screen displays "Perfect/Perfecto".
  3. Press Volume Down again to confirm successful calibration.

Start Recording

  1. Press the Volume Up button to start recording.
  2. The recording will begin in 60 seconds.

Positive Walking Testing

  1. Ensure you are wearing your hat (so no personal data is collected).
  2. Clear the field of view within 60 seconds and wait for recording to begin.
  3. Walk through the entrance in all usual directions:
    • 50 times IN and 50 times OUT (Use the counter app to track precisely).
    • If there is a door, open and close it as you walk through.
  4. Simulate real-world movements:
    • Walk in random directions without going IN/OUT to create negative test scenarios.
  5. If another person enters the field of view:
    • Ask them to stop and take another route.
    • If they pass through, restart the testing process:
      1. Unmount the phone.
      2. Press Back, Open, and delete the video.
      3. Restart the process from the beginning.

Negative Walking Testing

  1. 15 seconds after positive testing ends, negative testing will start.
  2. Avoid walking through the entrance:
    • Walk nearby the entrance but do not cross it.
    • Simulate movements such as walking past the doorway or approaching it and turning back.
  3. Duration: The negative test will last 2 minutes.
  4. Once the phone displays "Automatic Testing Started," leave the area and do not reposition the device.
