Our latest AI model for people counting will be trained on Europe's fastest supercomputer, LUMI. The new model will offer unrivalled accuracy.
Trained on the LUMI supercomputer, our new AI model will ensure faster optimised data processing and exceptional accuracy, making it the only available calculation solution of its kind in the world. It provides consistent computing performance under a wide range of conditions.
A key feature of the people counting solution we have developed is our commitment to privacy. Our solution is 100% privacy-preserving, no personal data is stored. We are implementing this principle of respect for personal data and privacy in the development of our new AI model. Data has been collected in separate secured development environments, where individuals have given written consent to be photographed. The training of the model itself in the LUMI supercomputer has taken place using images that have first been fully anonymised.
Our innovative technology has a significant impact on the built environment. Generating accurate people flow data enables to optimise the use of the built environment, thereby reducing costs and emissions. The built environment accounts for 40% of global energy emissions and 50% of raw materials.
Our solution has been 100% developed in Finland and reflects the Finnish commitment to respect privacy and the open-minded exploitation of the potential of artificial intelligence and machine learning.
The new AI model will be available for our PeopleCounter product in June 2024 and is now available for pre-order.
